Eucharistic Ministers The Eucharist is the summit toward which all preparations of the lay liturgical ministers have led; when we come together to recognize Jesus, in the breaking of the Bread. Those who distribute the body and blood of Christ should\ reflect the Church’s belief that we are transformed in the true presence of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. Ministers are scheduled according to their preferences. Contact: Rev. William G. Williams, Pastor.
Greeters, Ushers, Collectors: Ushers, Greeters and Collectors at Mass are the face our St. Peter Parish. They extend hospitality at our liturgical celebrations. Ushers assist with the collection at Mass assuring its safe delivery to a secure location. Greeters are present at church entrances/exits as people arrive for Mass and extend that warm welcome that is vital to being a welcoming and evangelizing faith community. Ushers and Greeters are asked occasionally to assist with the distribution of printed materials from time to time as well. To find out more, contact our Coordinator: Deacon Dick Cussen 781-585-9790
Lectors: The function of the Lector is to effectively proclaim the scriptures and the Prayers of the Faithful during liturgical celebrations. A lector strives to proclaim the Word of God with clarity and distinction so that it is not just read, but fully understood by the listening parish community. Lectors are called from the assembly and minister to and with the assembly. They must feel comfortable standing in front of those gathered for liturgy and have good oral communication skills and the ability to read effectively. Lectors must prepare to read the text before the liturgy to be clear about the scripture's meaning. Both adults and confirmed high school youth are welcome. Lectors are scheduled to read on a rotating basis, and most lectors are scheduled once-a-month. To find out more, contact our Coordinator: Jack Girard 508-888-1503

Choir The Adult Choir rehearses Thursdays, 7:00-8:30 PM in the Church. They sing weekly at the Sunday 9:30 AM Mass as well as Christmas Eve, Easter Sunday, and other liturgical celebrations. Come and sing with us. This is a very friendly group!
Cantors Our cantors lead the sung prayer of the church at all the Masses. We train cantors of almost any age. Cantors must have a strong enough voice and presence to lead a congregation. Adult Cantors should be fairly adept at learning music on their own. Younger cantors must show a high level of focus and responsibility. They can sing at the Mass or Masses of their choosing. If interested, please contact the Music Director for an interview/audition.
